Violin escence

Felix Lajko is one of the world's best violin player and folk artist if you ask me. In my opinion one song is enough to summerize up, what this guy is capable of, you can find this just below of my comments. He, as many of us, magyars, is born in the territory of the former Kingdom of Hungary, once part of the Astrian-Hungarian Empire. Even so, these people are really connected to their home culture. It is important to mention though, that our nationalism does not build bridges between cultures, rather, our musicians also take part in the world music scene. Lajko himself played together with Alexander Balanescu and Boban Markovic, whose name might be not alien to ears of this kind of music.
